UK Staycation Accommodation for Big Groups

Hey guys! The last few months have been so surreal but I hope you’re all good, taking care of your mental and staying safe ❤️

Now as we all know, coronavirus has had the whole world on it’s toes for a while now. So many plans have been thrown up in the air because of it – some of them being travel related. It may be a long time till some of us can go abroad but that doesn’t mean we can’t go on holidays or travel within our own country!

That’s pretty much what a staycation is – it can be a vacation where you stay in your home country or town and do activities local to you or it can be one where you visit a new town or city in your home country and stay there for a few days.

A really popular staycation idea is one where you get a big group of people together and rent a holiday cottage in somewhere rural for 2 to 3 days.

If you haven’t been on one before then now is the time to start thinking of doing one or start planning one for when lockdown is over! I’ve been on 3 big group staycations now and have had so much fun on all of them.

I’ve put together a list of cottages, barns and mansions across England that are perfect for big groups ranging from 8 to 40 (yes 40) people. You’ll find that most of them have BBQs and gardens as a minimum which are great features to have especially if you plan on going away in summer.

As holiday accommodation in the UK including hotels, B&Bs and holiday rentals begin to open up on July 4th, you’ll find that a lot of people are beginning to have the same idea of doing staycations and places are getting booked up really quickly. With that in mind if you already have a group of friends who are keen on going away and are ready to book then I’d strongly advise reserving somewhere as soon as you’re able to!
